A writing desk is placed before a large picture window and the fireplace keeps the chalet warm and cosy during those cold winter evenings.

The Communal Outdoor Areas

The Kudu chalet and Giraffe House are located on either side of the open air kitchen which is the perfect place for dinner al fresco under the pergola. The outdoor kitchen caters for a variety of cooking experiences and is equipped with a pizza oven, braai area, weber and various prep areas.

A variety of cooking accessories are provided to make your cooking experience all the more eventful.

A communal outdoor lounge space is shaded by an old Common Fig Tree for those hot summer days next to the splash pool.

The rooms and garden have 24 hour Wi-Fi access.

The Giraffe House and Kudu chalet are located next to each other and are separated by the outdoor kitchen and pergola. These can be rented separately or as a combined option for a larger group of up to 6 people.

Serapana House

Serapana is a Sepedi word for a space outside a house where grass and other plants have been planted to look attractive and provide a place for relaxation as well as the cultivation of food. With Serapana House we want to create a space that works as overnight accommodation as well as a nursery.

The garden is a work in progress and is filled with a variety of indigenous aloes and succulents which are water-wise. A large conversation/fire pit is located in the garden and a small pathway leads through the bush to a pergola overlooking the Kudu River Valley and the Schnellskop Mountain as a backdrop. This area is a favourite grazing place for our animals as it is not far from the dam.

The rooms all have adjoining verandahs and the rooms and garden have 24 hour Wi-Fi access.
